Google office in London

The new office of the internet search engine giant has been done by interior designing firm Scott Brownrigg. You can see the giant logo of Google in th lobby with the two Os forming the doorway! The 40,000 sq.ft. area office took about 16 weeks to complete. The office is meant to accommodated 300 staff members and houses amenities like gym,spa center and restaurant. The colorful interiors look very dynamic indeed!
Note: I have changed the way I spell colour.;-)

The big dice are individual video conferencing rooms.

Sachin Tendulkar’s Shell House....An Email hoax.

An email  was doing the rounds in India claiming that this shell shaped house belonged to the cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar. Of course it is not true!!!!The house is not in India but is actually, on the other side of the planet, in Mexico City and is the brainchild of the Mexican architect Javier Senosiain.

Asian Contemporary

One of my friend wanted to do her home with Asian influence but at the same time simple modern style. Japanese Zen was no...no...After hunting a lot we did get what we wanted. I would like to share with you some of the accent features of the design.

These tables are from Padi and handmade with  coconut tree(wood I suppose) and rattan. They have been laminated and are waterproof. You could see the bowl like hollow in the second table. This can be used as a bowl! Yes you can fill it with water and have some flowers & candles floating in it!
